The Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation prepares the invoices for drinking water and sewage disposal fees in the following system:
For permanent private consumers, we send the bills every month. In the first, second, third, fourth and fifth months of the year we send a partial invoice based on the average consumption, and in the sixth month we send an invoice calculated on the basis of the reading. This system was introduced in order to make the financial burdens of our consumers more even.

Seasonal consumers receive a bill every three months including the availability charges of our services. They get a bill based on the reading performed by the Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation in July or August every year. Our seasonal consumers can read the meters themselves and ask for the bill of the amount consumed after the summer season. Seasonal users can submit their reading of water consumption at the end of the season - after DRV’s reading in July/August - every year till 15th October. To assist our consumers, we also send a pre-printed postcard that needs to be returned to our Corporation after filling in. Seasonal users can submit their final reading every year till 15th December in order that the bills can be prepared based on the prices of the relevant year.

You can also let us know the stand of the water-meters electronically on our website by filling in the form „Reporting the stand of water-meters”.

Public consumers (both permanent and seasonal) receive a bill monthly based on the reading of the meters. Provided that the public consumer has no real consumption following the season, our corporation will only bill the availability charges.

Our consumers can pay for our services in the following ways:
-
Cash transfer order (cheque)
-
Direct debit
-
Bank transfer
The most convenient way of paying is to entrust the bank handling your current account to settle the bill through a direct debit.
If you wish to entrust the bank handling your current account to set up a direct debit, please quote the following code number of the Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation: A 11226002 T210
Our consumers with internet connection and the sufficient bank contract can transfer the sum of the water-bill themselves.

For the sake of the safe operation of water utilities, the necessary financial coverage must be available for the operator, through the payment of bills. That is why it is indispensable for consumers to settle their bills before the deadline.
Obligation to pay before the deadline
The consumers using water utility services must settle for the service fee before the deadline indicated on the bill. The complaints made regarding the bill are not suspensory for the obligation to pay.
In order to settle the water-bills on time, we recommend our consumers to choose direct debit, which is not only comfortable, but guaranteed that bills are settled before the deadline.
Interest on overdue payment
In case the bills are settled late (after the term of payment), the Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation will charge an interest on overdue payment. The amount of the interest will be indicated in the settlement invoices, in the section called “Interest on overdue payment (number of interest voucher) outside the VAT range”, after the amounts paid late in the given period.
The obligation to pay an interest on overdue payment extends from the first day after the term of payment indicated in the bill until meeting the debts. For this period, the amount of the interest will be calculated based on the interest rate determined in the legal regulations.
Possibility to pay in instalments
If for some reason our Consumer receives a bill that is higher than his or her bills received in the preceding periods, the Consumer can send a written request to our Customer Service to allow him or her to pay in instalments. (Customer Service, Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation, Siófok 8601, Pf. 888). If any instalment is not settled in time, the debt immediately becomes due together with the sanctions (interest on overdue payment), and the Consumer’s repeated request for payment in instalments will be rejected. In addition to paying the instalments, the actual bills must be settled as well.
Information about arrears, request for payment
In the section called “Your balance apart from the sum of the bill, according to our record”, existing debts will be indicated on every bill.
In order to have the debts exceeding 3 000 HUF settled we keep monthly controls. On the first two occasions, we send a written request for payment to the consumer. For the first request, we charge 200 HUF, whereas for the second one sent with return receipt, we charge 350 HUF extra costs for the Consumer.
Informing National Public Health and Medical Officer Service (ÁNTSZ), the restriction of service

The Corporation will inform the local office of National Public Health and Medical Officer Service (ÁNTSZ) about its intention to possibly restrict the drinking water supply. Provided that the request for payment is ineffective and the National Public Health and Medical Officer Service (ÁNTSZ) raises no objection, Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation will restrict the drinking water supply.
The following costs regarding the restriction and the re-introduction of the service fall on the Consumer.
The amounts indicated in the table do not include VAT (20 per cent)
The re-introduction of the drinking water-supply will only be implemented 5 calendar days after settling the entire amount of the debt as well as the costs of restriction and re-introduction of the service, provided that the payment is proved.
Entrusting a credit management (debt collection) company
If the debt is not settled after the restriction either, or no restriction can be applied in the place of consumption, a debt collection company will be entrusted.
Launching a legal procedure
If the exaction is not successful, we will take legal proceedings in order to collect our claims. By keeping the terms of payment you can avoid the extra costs mentioned in the above proceedings, which we detailed for informative purposes.
