Laboratory examinations at Transdanubian Regional Waterworks
Water is our primary aliment; therefore, it can only arrive in the taps following strict quality controls. In the approved laboratories of the Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Corporation, water is continuously examined and controlled before it arrives at the places of consumption. Our experts carry out hundreds of thousands of examinations every year at wells, during the cleaning technology, in pump stations, in catchment basins, at certain designated checkpoints and at consumers’ taps. Independently from our own internal control – the quality of drinking water is controlled by the National Public Health and Medical Officer Service (ÁNTSZ).
The Central Laboratory has the following accredited activity: taking samples from drinking water, biological examination of drinking water and of the raw and treated water, including physical, chemical, bacteriological and microscopic examinations; taking samples from sewage water and physical, chemical, bacteriological and microscopic examinations.
The laboratories of our corporation carry out examinations to control our own activity; in addition, they provide services to external clients.
